Community
At Dame Ellen Pinsent School we take pride in being an active part of our local community.
We take small groups of children to a local care home to talk and play with the elderly residents and have just started working with Andrew Cohen House Care Home in Stirchley.
We have also worked alongside May Lane Allotments and have taken classes to meet the plot holders, learn about plant care and learn to grow their own fruit and vegetables.
As a school we have close connections with Holy Cross Church in Billesley.
The vicar often joins us for our class assemblies and Easter events in school and we take children to the church to support them in their events. Recently we made decorations for their Easter events.
