Right Help Right Time (RHRT) provides guidance on how to respond
to children and their families in accordance with the layers
of
need they are experiencing.
Their collective mission is to deliver the right help at the
right time by
co-ordinating efforts, sharing information and putting the
child and
their experiences at the centre of everything they do.
RHRT sets out 4 layers of children’s needs:
·
Universal needs
·
Universal needs plus
·
Additional
needs
· Complex/significant needs
Their aim is to:
• provide effective help and support as early as possible,
• have conversations and listen to children and their
families as early as possible,
• understand the child’s lived experience,
• work collaboratively to improve children’s life
experiences,
• understand the child‘s cultural identity and needs, and
recognise where there is
disadvantage and
discrimination,
• be open, honest and transparent with families in our
approach,
• empower families by working with them,
• work in a way that builds on the families’ strengths, and
• build resilience in families to overcome difficulties.
If you are experiencing any difficulties or need support, such as with signposting, housing, financial support or…., we could ask you if you’d be happy for us to refer you to RHRT. Also, you can fill in a request form yourself-RMM - Public Form
