Dame Ellen Pinsent School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of our children. Safeguarding is the responsibility of all of our community, staff, governors and visitors, our Senior Leadership Team and Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) are always happy to support and advice and ensure that all stakeholders are up to date on relevant safeguarding practices.

Dame Ellen Pinsent School educates children aged 4-11 and work in partnership with children’s social care.

If there is a safeguarding concern about a child, a DSL will contact children’s social care:

Outside of normal office hours the Emergency Duty Team can be contacted on 0121 675 4806.

If a child or adult is in immediate danger, contact should be made with the police on 999
