Our Vision and Mission
Welcome to our school community. We are a warm, vibrant primary special school where every child feels a true sense of belonging, and is valued, understood, and celebrated for exactly who they are. We know that learning looks different for everyone, and our dedicated team works hard to create a safe, happy space where every pupil can thrive.

Our vision, "learning today, in preparation for tomorrow," means that every experience we offer today builds the foundation for a meaningful, happy future. Whether that means learning to express feelings, mastering a daily routine, making a friend, or preparing for the transition to secondary school, we focus on the small, vital steps that lead to greater independence.
Our Mission: DEP – Develop, Engage, Prepare
To bring our vision to life, we focus on three core ideas: Develop, Engage, and Prepare.
Develop
We focus on the whole child, recognising that emotional well-being, physical development, and communication are just as important as academic progress. We nurture each child's unique strengths and support their individual needs, celebrating every milestone along the way.
Engage
We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, happy, and inspired. Our classrooms and outdoor spaces are designed to be sensory-friendly, accessible, and full of joy. By fostering a deep sense of belonging and security, we capture our pupils' interest, build their self-esteem, and help them connect with the world around them.
Prepare
Our ultimate goal is to give our pupils the tools they need for a fulfilling future. This means teaching practical life skills, encouraging self-advocacy, and helping children find their own unique voice.

Our School Values
Our school values are celebrated in weekly celebration assemblies and are reflected in the behaviour of both adults and children alike.
